WE UNDERSTAND

In a context of communication crisis, marked by public criticism of the fishing industry due to its influence on recent changes to the Fisheries Law, at Simplicity we developed a strategic approach that went beyond media management. The goal: to reposition the association and its new president as legitimate and key players in the fisheries sector.

WE IDEATE

We decided to position the president as a key reference among decision-makers. Our advisory work included a comprehensive strategy to secure media coverage, develop narratives and messaging, identify stories and opportunities, and create content. Additionally, we managed the president’s engagement and introductions with opinion leaders, media, and government authorities. We also conducted monitoring and analysis of the media and legislative agenda, along with managing and containing issues impacting the industrial fishing sector.

WE SOLVE

We fostered a positive debate around the development of industrial fishing. Asipes established itself as a proactive and constructive association in the sector’s discussion, led by its president on issues of sustainability, best practices, and transparency. Additionally, we highlighted its contribution to the production of high-value food.

RESULTS

Publications during the advisory period helped position key industry topics and highlight major initiatives led by industrial fishermen in the Biobío region, such as the food bank and the donation of jack mackerel meals to senior citizens.
